I have a frigidaire dehumidifier and needed a nice AC unit. I wanted something that had a fresh air vent as well to bring in fresh air, instead of just recirculating the air in the room. This is one of the only ACs on the market that does that! Pretty quite on max and very quite on low fan speed. Also has auto restart, so if the power goes out, or gets turned off, it will restart on the previous settings automatically. Also very nice!

We bought this air conditioner for the living room in our one bedroom apartment, living in SoCal. It is pretty powerful, cools down the room, the hallway, and even sends some air to the bedroom. In fact, it's our second Frigidaire 10000 btu. The first one lasted good 11 years.

The box arrived at our front door on May 22, 2025 without notice from UPS. The box looked like it fell off the truck and it is very obvious that it had been previously opened and repackaged, as the flaps were unglued and secured with clear packing tape. The Window A/C unit is not supposed to be shipped on its side and we were expecting the normal shipping method of the unit inside a brown box, marked fragile with arrows stating "this side up". We must assume that the unit is damaged as that is why it was previously returned to Frigidaire by another customer. Repeated emails and a call to Customer Service for a return shipping label have been ignored. So, we have to keep the unit in our shed and instruct our Credit Card Company to reverse the charge.

This is my sixth Frigidaire Window Room Air Conditioner in eight years. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchases. However, imagine my disappointment when this unit arrived and there was no "remote sensing" feature included on this model. All photos of this model on the Frigidaire website show the remote sensing feature on the face of the unit. I have the similar 12,000 BTU model with the remote sensing feature which is very desirable. I would not have purchased this FHWC103TC1 model (10,000 BTU), if the Frigidaire photo did not show that it had the remote sensing feature.

I have a 3 bedroom 2 bath single wide mobile home. I bought a 10,000 btu and a 5,000 btu window unit. The larger unit cools all but my bedroom, which I put the smaller unit in. I'm very impressed with how it keeps my place cool. I have it set on eco and 70°. It's much better than running my old central air unit. I'm sure it will save me money on electric bill.

It seems good so far. The extreme heat hasn't arrived here yet. One annoying thing is everytime you turn it on its automatically in eco mode so you've gotta remember to turn it off if you want it to run continouslyon 1 fan speed. It blows cold, moderate noise level, good price

Very good air conditioner and cools very well. I left off a star because the lights to show the temperature is very dull and hard to see and the small dots to see what mode and fan it™™s on is so dull and tiny you cannot read it. You just have to guess where you have it set to.
