I had another Frigidaire unit for 25 years that never had any issues until now. Got my new washer-dryer and it's wonderful. The sounds are different, so takes getting used to. Otherwise great purchase!

I purchased a unit from Home Depot 3 months ago. The unit has stopped working, and we called Fridigare to come out, only to be told that they cannot repair the unit and we need to contact Home Depot to obtain a new one. We contacted Home Depot and were told that the warranty was by Fridigarie, and they need to do the replacement. Why would the Tech say this? It is just passing the buck. Now I have to call fridigarie. Now they are giving me the run around and do not want to replace the unit. what can i do.

Not happy at all!! I bought a brand new one in 2004 and it lasted till 3 weeks ago. Not 1 load has completed without being out of balance in this new one I got THIS WEEK! Can't open lid and on drain and spin IT FILLS UP ALL OVER AGAIN.. STUPID WASTE OF Money FILL AND REFILL JUST TO GET IT TO SPIN?????? AND NOT ENERGY RATED

I bought a new unit when my old Frigidaire washer and dryer started leaking. The new unit was delivered to me by ABT on July 19, 2023. It was working fine for only a short period, although it was much noisier compared to the old unit. A few months later, in November 2023, the dryer stopped working. I called for service and waited several weeks until mid-December 2023 for the technician to arrive and repair the machine. Unfortunately, because some parts needed to be replaced, I had to wait several more weeks, until January 2024, for the spare parts to arrive and the dryer to be fixed. Almost immediately after the dryer was finally working, the washer stopped spinning. I placed another service order and waited until the end of January 2024 before I was able to use the appliance again. I was having serious doubts about whether this unit had a factory defect. I inquired with the technician performing the repairs if I can ask for the entire unit to be replaced, but the technician said that until the unit is repairable, it will not be replaced. In September 2024, I had to place another service order due to another malfunction, which was causing a rumbling noise from the washing machine. The spare parts were ordered and installed later that month after another several weeks' waiting period when I couldn't use the unit for washing my clothes. In April of this year, I needed to schedule another service due to another defect of the washing machine. The spinning process stopped working properly, and clothes were still very wet after finishing the spin cycle. Last month, the neighbor downstairs rushed to our unit and informed me about a water leak from my washing machine. It turned out the water leak was due to yet another breakage and defective part in that unit! The leak caused significant damage to my neighbor's property. I had to use my condo insurance to pay for the damages done to my downstairs neighbor. This situation is unacceptable. I feel angry and devastated by the situation with this Frigidaire unit. I feel like I bought a piece of junk. It is giving me so much trouble, rather than the peace of mind and comfort of having a washing machine at home.

We were looking on line and comparing price. We saw it on sale at ABC warehouse. we went there we bought it and they delivered it. We love it. My wife wanted a washer with an agitator not an empty drum in the washing machine. This is a great buy, it has the large capacity washer and dryer. We can even do quilts in this machine with no problem. It is a little noisy where it is sitting between the bedroom and kitchen but it is livable. All and all i would rate it a 9 out of 10 for the price.

The first of our Frigidaire, laundry centers that was delivered the dryer was not working. We purchased from RC Willey of Salt Lake City, Utah. They promptly replaced our first unit with another laundry center. The dryer in the new center now works just fine.

love this new machine, actually works the way a washing machine should, complete control over cycles, water temperature and amount of fill. Dryer also works well, delicate is actually a real delicate cycle without overheating clothing. This is my 3rd laundry center in the last 10 years, and my favorite by far.

Our old stackable Frigidaire had to be replaced yesterday in our apartment. I loved it, but the dryer was screeching beyond repair after they tried to grease it several times. It was apparently about 20 years old so I™™d say it had a good run. I miss it already. This new machine has been nothing but trouble in its first 24 hours. It™™s loud, apparently unbalanced no matter how you load it, and the dryer door is WARPED so it doesn™™t even close properly. I just did a medium load on cold. Somewhere along the way the machine changed it over to warm. I did NOT set it like that. Additionally, the spin cycle went on for about 45 minutes - just like it did last night when we tried it. I hate this thing! It™™s so frustrating to have had such a good machine that had to go due to age - just to have it be replaced with something that already works like garbage. The everlasting spin cycle sounds like a small diesel engine vibrating half of the apartment!!! So unhappy we are stuck with this thing, and I have no idea how a warped door could get past QC.

I am enjoying my new washer/dryer combo. It™™s very compact and runs well. It holds larger loads than I was expecting, so that™™s a plus. One caveat: the washer spin cycle doesn™™t sense very small loads well, so these are likely to come out dripping. But, that™™s what the dryer™™s for!

Previous to the purchase of my laundry center, I was the happy owner of a Frigidaire laundry center built in May of 2003, model FGZ831AS1. I never had a bit of trouble in the 22 years the machine was in our family. When it finally had a problem, I decided to get a new one since it had many years on it. I was very excited to find that Frigidaire still had a similar model, just updated. Installation was a breeze, and it had the same footprint, so it fit perfectly where the old one had been located. There were a few more options with both the washer and dryer, which was a nice surprise as well. I am very happy with my choice and hopefully it will be another 22 years before I have to replace this one. Thank you, Frigidaire!

I enjoy everything about my new frigidaire system with the exception of being able to keep lid open to see it fill. It is most likely a safety mechanism. My last laundry system lasted 20 years. I'm hoping for the same experience.
