Good fridge - horrible sounds

This is a good fridge, but it has a "feature" that makes a loud alarm go off if the door has been left open. I checked the manual, and it says that after 5 minutes, if the door is open, the alarm will go off. There is no way to turn this off. In my fridge, it goes off anywhere from 20 seconds to a minute. This is impossible to live with. This is a new fridge, should this be happening?

This Frigidaire is exactly what we were looking for. Stainless Steel two door side by side is perfectly designed. We did not want an ice machine in the freezer. We needed the space for freezing bulk purchases. Just the right amount of shelves, one large drawer, and plenty of storage space on the door.The refrigerator side has plenty of shelves and drawer space. The front of the side by side is smooth, no handles on the outside of the doors, and the temperature controls are on the outside between the two doors. Digital display and easy to regulate. We would highly recommend this Frigidaire refrigerator/freezer to shoppers looking for quality, well lit, and spacious appliance.

I love this refrigerator. I had no idea I could purchase a counter depth refrigerator for my garage. No having an ice maker leaves so much more space in the freezer. I love the smudge proof stainless too. So far, it's been perfect.

I prefer a fridge with no water filter and ice maker, which can be difficult to find nowadays. This one offers exactly what you need, best for a small family that doesn™™t have a lot of kitchen space. Luckily it tucks right into our corner without sticking out as much.

So far are new refrigerator is running fine. Located in kitchen area inside. Even though cabinet depth there seems to be plenty of storage space. I have noticed that larger refrigerators are alot deeper and it is hard to find your items. This size and depth is perfect. No milk storage on door but that hasn't been a problem. No icemaker so freezer has good storage also. Items inside are kept cold in fridge side and frozen in freezer side. What more could you ask for. Runs quietly. If it last I would buy again.

We did thorough reviews before buying Frigidaire - 21.4 Cu. Ft. 36" Counter-Depth Side-by-Side Refrigerator. its been a week and so far we are very satisfied. It look stylish and is supposed to be reliable per several reviews that we have looked at and we were less inclined on features that lot of other refrigerators offered. Hope this refrigerator works for 20+ years without any issue.

The appliance has great lines, lots of room for food and other items. It took 48 hours for it to reach desired temperature, since the temp is pre- programmed, I had to purchase a thermometer to verify the temp, the temp setting bar strip on the outside (center) is very convenient and easy to use, but is preset temps, no ability to override the settings

I bought this fridge for its affordability, simplicity, and reliability. So far it™™s worked great and was easy for the deliverer to install. My only small complaint is that the little alarm that alerts that the door was left open is very annoying. It sounds like a door or smoke alarm rather than a gentle chirp or beep beep that my past fridges had. Other than that it works great

No extended handles, no ice maker or water dispenser, very quiet and sleek appearance. Fingerprints wipe off with a soft towel and elbow grease (do not use chemical cleansers). Maximizes storage and it runs a lot to keep the temp's constant, but it is quiet, and it is barely noticeable. Cannot comment on longevity, it is less than 1 month old.

I chose Frigidaire based on 2 factors. I have previously wonder 2 LG French door refrigerators, both had issues with water/ice dispensers but not covered under warranty. Repairman said he has the fewest repair calls on Frigidaire and only brand he™™d but. Good enough for me!

After nine repair service appointments over the four months since it was delivered, my Frigidaire refrigerator has never cooled properly - the SAME ISSUE reported in multiple other on-line reviews. The bottom crisper hovers around 52-53 degrees Fahrenheit and the top refrigerator shelf cools below 40 degrees ONLY if the interior panel is disassembled and left dangling. The lower refrigerator shelf averages 46 degrees when the lowest temperature of 35 degrees is selected - although the unit is completely empty and the door remains closed for over 48 hours. Frigidaire-appointed, local repairmen worked hand-in-hand with Frigidaire's in-house technical staff to repair the unit to no avail. When it became apparent that the unit was a lemon after service appointment #8, I requested a replacement of the unit, but Frigidaire's "back office" rejected this request - claiming they have no documentation indicating the unit isn't working properly from their in-house technical support team or their appointed, local repair technicians. Next step, initiate repair service appointment #10 and continue indefinitely until Frigidaire resolves the issue. Beware of purchasing Frigidaire - despite the star rating and what you may read in positive reviews.

Stylish and perfect for the needs of our fire department ... except for one thing ... The doors "kick back" like they're on a springed hinge and stay open unless you physically push the doors completely closed. Additionally, the open door "ding" is not nearly audible enough to alert you that the door is not closed. I forsee this being a serious issue.

I was afraid if this would fit but it fit perfectly to our kitchen counter. got the fridge from Lowe's on memorial day sales, cheaper than Lowe's outlet considering cheaper delivery fee. fridge is spacious inside, no frills, no ice maker, simple freezer and fridge. love the temp control outside, gentle beeping when door is left open, vacation mode, and sleek look that makes it look more expensive than its price.

Needed a new fridge for the garage to keep drinks cold and hold overflow from the kitchen fridge. It looks good and is working fine so far. The only issue that I have, is that it doesn't have door handles. It has recessed places in each door to grab and open it. Makes it look sleek but is harder to get in and out of.

It suits our needs and waas not so outrageously expensive. We have a larger refrig that we use. It™™s taking a bit getting used to with the cutback in storage space, but it is more accomadating for our downsize. Pricing was the key issue.

No bells and whistle, nothing digital to worry about, just a very simple side by side fridge with only the controls you need to manage the fridge temps, and it will handle temps as high as 108 and 38 if your garage is susceptible to temp changes. And affordable! Great second fridge for us. (Only suggestion, give the actual temp of the unit, not just what the setting is). I put two small fridge temp gauges on each side internally to make sure I knew the actual temp. You lose all your stored food only once when you cant monitor the actual temp!
