I love the convenience of the Electrolux stick vac, but it's really annoying that I have to order the filters and pay $8.00 in shipping. If the store sells the vac, they should also sell the filters. Also, the filters could and should be WAY cheaper if you didn't have to buy the plastic/mesh thing that the filter goes into. No reason that part can't be used for years without being replaced. $10.00 for a filter is WAY too much. Had I known that, I would have bought another brand vacuum.

This machine was a replacement of an earlier model. My old one failed within the warrantee period, and it was replaced with this terrific machine. I love it!

I bought two of these filters for my portable Electrox Vac. They clog up fast and have to be cleaned often. Then my vac became less and less effective. I am not sure if it was because the battery became weak or if the electric motor assembly wore out, but I threw the vac out and bought a different brand to replace it. The vac did work well when it was new, but it just did not last, even though it only had moderate use.

I have had my had my long handled hand vacuum for over 3 years and the store did not have replacement filters. Was very happy to find them online and the site was helpful in getting the correct one !
